Love my V-Strom but moving it’s a workout

I've been riding my V-Strom 1000 for a while now, and I absolutely love this bike. Sure, there are lighter options out there, but this one's a keeper for me.

That being said, ever since I came back from a shoulder injury, I've realized just how much effort it takes to move it around the garage or get it up on the paddock stand. Riding it is no problem,it's when it's not moving that it feels like a full-body workout.

Does anyone else find the V-Strom a bit tricky to handle when it's not on the road? I'd really appreciate any tips or tricks to make it a bit easier to manage without having to give up my favorite ride.

Hey, have you come across an idea of putting on frame sliders or crash bars with built in grips, it should give you better leverage when pushing or pulling...at least that's what some big youtube guy did, a little creativity with ramps or rollers under the tires can make maneuvering less of a workout too

Yeah, the V-Strom is a beast and can be tough to move around off the road, especially after an injury. Using wheel chocks, a paddock stand with wheels or a motorcycle dolly can make things way easier. Lots of us deal with this for sure, just some handy gear can save your back without giving up your favorite bike.
