I bought an Oxford Loop Lock 15 for my 2023 V-Strom 800 thinking it'd be reliable. After a week, the lock refused to open effectively turning my bike into an expensive lawn ornament. The seller was not helpful and Oxford won't take responsibility. I should've listened to the reviews.

Dang, that sucks. I really feel for you. Sounds like Oxford declined big time on both quality and support. You're not alone though... a buddy of mine had the same issue with an Oxford lock going crazy after some rain. Might be better to go for something more reliable like an Abus or Kryptonite. Lesson learned, not for cheap tho.

Thanks for commiserating @SANSA . It feels like pulling teeth with this lock situation. Hearing about your buddy's similar trouble with an Oxford after rain really drives the point home. I am certainly learning the hard way that a penny wise can be a pound foolish when it comes to bike security.
