Suspension lowering kit help

I had just gotten my bike undergo a suspension lowering surgery. I, of course, as someone who doesn't wanna F things up, I went to the bike shop and had them do it for me. Anyway, they didn't really raise the fork tubes? So I'm quite confused and stuck here because I'll get back to them for the raising. I need more info from you.
 
@SANSA Yep, going back to the shop is a good idea. you need to confirm how they lowered the suspension, ask if they used internal modifications or just planned to raise the fork tubes. also ask about potential changes to handling and front end travel

Raising the fork tubes should bring it all back into alignment, I'm surprised they must hve skipped that because it's standard practice when lowering, should've been done together unless there's a reason they skipped it, might've been an oversight anyway, or they thought the drop was small enough not to matter

Did you end up going back for the raise? I'm not sure why they didn't do it. Do they charge you for labor or?
 
I've experienced something similar with my old SV650. I had a shop lower the rear end, but I completely forgot to adjust the forks in the triples. After that, the front end felt really odd and sluggish in turns. I went back to the shop and had them raise the tubes by about 20mm to match the rear drop, and it sorted out the handling completely. It's definitely a good idea to ask them how they lowered it and why they didn't make the fork adjustments.
