Tiger 900 and V-Strom 1000

I recently tried out a Triumph Tiger 900 and thought I'd share what I thought of it. I ride a 2017 V-Strom 1000. The Tiger felt lighter and easier to handle, but the throttle was jumpy when riding slow. The suspension was firm, but not as smooth as my V-Strom on long rides. I'd probably stick to my V-Strom. But has anyone else tried a different bike? How does it compare to your V-Strom?

Well technically they are in different classes and you're pretty much on point with everything you said. The Tiger is a sportier option, while the Suzuki is a tourer. Personally I do like the responsiveness of the Tiger, but it's a double edged sword as you found when riding slow. Both of these are for two different kinds of riders, which is why we should always start with what we want and then move over to what we can get in that class.

When you say the Tiger is sportier, does that mean it's better for twisty roads or short trips? And for touring bikes like the Suzuki, how do they handle in city traffic or daily use? Trying to find something that fits both weekend rides and weekday errands.
